About us

Kalkman is a family-owned company founded by great-grandfather Kalkman in 1924. Since its establishment, the company has been involved in activities related to the maritime industry. Over time, Kalkman specialised in the development and production of bow thrusters, azimuth thrusters and ballast pumps. As vessels grew in size, the demand for precise and controlled manoeuvrability increased.
